Head of School

Peter Holmstrom currently serves as the Head of School at Summit School. His background involves a Bachelor of Social Work from Azusa Pacific University, a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction, and is set to complete his Educational Specialist degree from Arkansas State University. He loves to dream, travel, and spend time with family. During his free time (if that exists) you will often find him explore new places, playing with his daughter, or building Legos.

DeAnne Coleman grew up in Brazoria, TX and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration. DeAnne has combined her passions for the business world and working with children in every career choice she has made. DeAnne has worked as a classroom Teacher, Summer Camp Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters mentorship program, and worked at an International School in Singapore. DeAnne enjoys spending her time with her husband and two daughters.

Halle graduated from Robinson high school in 2017 and has worked in childcare for over 4 years She has always had a passion in early childhood and has loved working with young children guiding and watching them grow. Halle has two kids, Brynn age 5, and Briggs 1 years old. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends She is very excited to be apart of summit again for the 2023-2024 school year !

PreK Guide

Ainslie is a cat mom to a 12 pound fuzz ball named Samson and an Aunt to 3 wonderful nieces and a nephew. She loves to read (mystery, romance, biographies) in her free time and she enjoys spending time outside with her plants and growing toad population. She has about six years of experience in child care, both in a classroom setting and out. Ainslie loves getting to be a part of creating a nurturing, inviting and most importantly fun environment that allows children to be excited to come to school!

jennifer wiley

K/1 Guide

Jennifer Wiley was born and raised in Cleburne,Texas. She first got a certification as a Pharmacy Technician, but quickly realized her true passion was always teaching. She started her teaching career as a teachers aide working with special needs students. She then went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Arizona. Throughout her 14 year teaching career she has taught grade levels from Pre-k all the way to High School. Her passion is working with early education and children with special needs. Jennifer has lived in the Waco area for 6 years and is married to a high school coach and teacher and together they share 5 children. In her free time she loves to be outdoors, is an avid football fan, and loves to spend time with her family.

2nd Grade Guide

Hollie Ustanik is very excited to be the second grade Math and ELAR guide for Summit. Early Childhood Education has been her passion for 23 years. She has taught for private and public schools and has also been an owner/operator of her own in-home daycare. She also is a small business owner of Hollie Hobbies Furniture. She is happily married, a Mom of 7 children, 3 bonus children and Honey to 3 Grands. Her hobbies include gardening and traveling when time allows.

Krystal Prebosnyak

3-5 Reading & Social Studies Guide

Krystal Prebosnyak was born and raised here in Waco, Texas. She attended Tarleton State University and graduated in 2016 with her Bachelor’s in Education. She has always had a passion to be a school teacher since High School. She is currently furthering her education, specifically in the English field, in a Master’s program at Minnesota State University. This is her 5th year teaching in the classroom and she has previously taught ELAR at Temple and Waco ISD. When she is not in the classroom she enjoys reading, DIY crafts with her daughters, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen.

3-5 Math Guide

Malorie Montoya was born and raised in Waco, TX. The realm of education and its importance has always been one of her top core values. This fall will begin her 8th year as an educator. She has taught multiple grade levels spanning from early childhood - 6th grade and has taught in both, the private and public school setting. Malorie also has experience in Special Education. At the start of early adulthood, Malorie and her husband, Shane lived in Austin, TX for almost 7 years, but moved back to Waco 3 years ago to be close to family, as their family system is very important to them. Together, they have 3 children, Ryan, Kynadie and Byntlie. In her spare time, you will find Malorie with her husband and children outside in a pool, gathering with their church family, or out to eat at the latest-and-greatest restaurant in town.

K-5 Art Guide

Shauna Reddick, a native of Plano, Texas, was born and raised in the vibrant city. After completing high school, she pursued her perceived passion in the field of Cosmetology. Following several years of practicing in the beauty industry, an exciting opportunity arose for Shauna to relocate to Germany, which she eagerly embraced. Her time in Germany allowed her to explore numerous countries, broadening her horizons. Currently, Shauna has resided in the Waco area for the past nine years, alongside her husband, Casey, and their two children. With her children enrolled in school, Shauna made the decision to actively contribute to their educational environment. Beginning as a Teaching Assistant, she discovered her profound love for working with children and teaching. Embarking on her sixth year as an educator, Shauna has successfully taught various subjects across a wide range of grade levels, from Pre-K to 7th Grade. At present, she is wholeheartedly pursuing her life's passion for teaching Art.

2-5 Forest Guide

Melissa began her love for outdoor education a few years after high school when she took a Horticulture Therapy class. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture and minor in Landscape architecture. Along with this degree, horticulture has provided an ongoing curiosity and analysis to each role within my career. As she grew a landscape business that started in 2016, she continued to learn by receiving an Outdoor Learning Environment design certification from Texas Tech University in 2022. She has a heart to help along with a lifelong interest in connecting people with nature. Melissa and her husband, Kelvin have 6 children between the ages of 10 and 27. Along with attending the kids’ activities, Melissa enjoys different crafts, traveling to North Dakota to see relatives and starting new books before finishing the last one. Her life knowledge after raising a blended family of 6 children, Lorena ISD substitute and children’s/youth ministry volunteer has helped her transition into working alongside children. She is looking forward to engaging learners’ natural curiosity and inspiring creative ideas to put into motion.
